SGA operates through nine branches. Each branch is managed by an elected executive, who sits on the SGA Executive Committee.

Student Senate, one of the branches, is SGA's legislative body. Chaired by the SGA vice president, it includes all of the branch executives plus elected senators. Other executives, including the financial officer, public relations directors and executive assistant, are non-voting members.
