It's 10:12 and we have a new president, a new direction, and a new source of hope. I'm in the Pause with my fellow oles celebrating this moment. I am so thankful to be here and sharing this focal point in our history. Two years leading up to this moment, oh my god. The music's playing (we are the music we are the children), there are hugs going around, and even some tears. My friend Sarah Dorman just said "I feel like I just one." We are the generation that made this possible, let's be honest. Never doubt what we are capable of and most importantly never give up.

My best,

This evening, Tuesday November 4th I can't help but look back on how different a person I am and how different my country is than it was four years ago. All of the people I've met, all of the heart and time I've put into the Obama campaign - it's all molded my college experience. It's all been so worth it, for the first time in my life I feel I fully invested my heart into something I truly care about - and in doing so I have contributed to the future of this country, to my children's future. America, here come the Millennials - we are ready for a new direction for our country; we are ready for a new American era.

Thank you,
Hal Halvorson

This is Anna and Clayton, here at the Verdict. Today was my first time voting in any election. I am so glad that this election has proved to be such a defining moment in American history. While voting today, I thought about how long this election has been in the works. I've been waiting for this since 2004. Finally the moment has arrived, and we are the ones we've been waiting for. Yes, we can.
