The Lion’s Pause is a student-run nightclub located on the first floor of Buntrock Commons. The Pause offers several event venues, a study area, pool lounge, kitchen offering a full menu, our famous pizza and shakes. The Pause is a branch of Student government Association.

Places in the Pause

MAIN STAGE
Our primary venue is the Mane Stage. Modeled after the legendary First Avenue in Minneapolis, this space hosts entertainment such as dances, concerts, or comedians on a continuous basis.

LION’S LAIR
The Lion’s Lair is a smaller venue featuring events like acoustic acts, poetry readings, bands, and Open Mic Nites.

PAUSE KITCHEN (x6969)
The Pause Kitchen offers a full menu of tasty snacks and pizza delivery all across campus. Look for the specialty pizzas! We accept, cash, check Ole Dollars and department charges for quick and easy payment.

Hours: M-F (10:30 a.m. – midnight); Sat-Sun (11 a.m. – midnight)
Pizza delivery: Sun-Th (6 p.m. – midnight)
