Atmosphere or the Fratellis!
I’d like to see Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, or The All-American Rejects.
Atmosphere is good, maybe also try O-death, or 3OH3, Deftones or Muse, perhaps the foo fighters?
I would vote for Steven Seagal, Passion Pit or Calvin Harris. Either way we are a terrible audience.

We should get Passion Pit. They were INSANE at Lolla this summer! The Fratellis would also be tight. They’re a loud and fun band.

Oh man, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings would be incredible. I think that’s the best suggestion anyone’s made yet. And she’s not so huge that she’d be impossible to get.
We should fly the Wombats in from Britain. That would be bangin!
Cloud Cult again would be cool-best concert at Olaf I’ve seen. I also like Atmosphere. Maria Isas is also fun.
If we can’t get a big name like andrew bird, islands, sunset rubdown, new pornographers, man man, or something like that please at least consider someone good that wouldn’t have to drive too far. Think tapes n’ tapes, the hopefuls, or, yes, cloud cult.
Also, straight up genres might be misleading to what people would like. Why?, for example is a bunch of white kids but they’re also hip-hopish. Or, I’m not one big for metal, but dethklok would be awesome, and i’m pretty sure “they” did a concert at the u of m twin-cities once.
