  1. Kateri says:

    Atmosphere or the Fratellis!

  2. Logan says:

I’d like to see Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, or The All-American Rejects.

  3. Anon says:

Atmosphere is good, maybe also try O-death, or 3OH3, Deftones or Muse, perhaps the foo fighters?

  4. Steven Seagal says:

I would vote for Steven Seagal, Passion Pit or Calvin Harris. Either way we are a terrible audience.

  5. Ralph says:

    WOOKIEFOOT!

  6. Boosty says:

yes I vote for Maroon 5, Muse, 3OH3!, and definitely DANNY SAUCEDO (he’s from Sweden – check him out!!)

oh and Beyonce would be cool.

  7. Emma says:

Atmosphere or Citizen Sage (an awesome local band)

  8. Ben says:

Man Man, Magnetic Fields, or They Might Be Giants, please!

  9. Robert says:

Avril Lavigne definately!!! That would be incredible? But could Olaf get her here?

  10. Kate says:

    Passion Pit!

  11. 50 Cent says:

Everyone around here likes terrible indie stuff. It’s not even music.

  12. Maria says:

    Atmosphere would be cool.
Also, is there any chance we could bring back Cloud Cult at any point? Their website says they are looking to do college shows in the midwest in the spring:
    http://www.cloudcult.com/shows.htm

  13. K rizzle says:

We should get Passion Pit. They were INSANE at Lolla this summer! The Fratellis would also be tight. They’re a loud and fun band.

  14. Marco Esquandolas says:

Hey Emma, Look out for info on a possible Citizen Sage show in the Lair in January.

Do you people seriously think we could afford to bring the likes of Maroon 5 or Muse? I think I read that someone wants Coldplay here? Are you being serious?

  15. good stuff says:

Aesop Rock would be a great concert!Ive seen him live and its an awesome time.

  16. Todd Gakk says:

Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings

  17. Harry says:

    Ben Folds

  18. Allison says:

    Remember Mika? lets do it.

  19. Poptimist says:

Oh man, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings would be incredible. I think that’s the best suggestion anyone’s made yet. And she’s not so huge that she’d be impossible to get.

  20. Lets Dance To Joy Division says:

We should fly the Wombats in from Britain. That would be bangin!

  21. Please have Energy says:

Cloud Cult again would be cool-best concert at Olaf I’ve seen. I also like Atmosphere. Maria Isas is also fun.

  22. brian says:

If we can’t get a big name like andrew bird, islands, sunset rubdown, new pornographers, man man, or something like that please at least consider someone good that wouldn’t have to drive too far. Think tapes n’ tapes, the hopefuls, or, yes, cloud cult.

Also, straight up genres might be misleading to what people would like. Why?, for example is a bunch of white kids but they’re also hip-hopish. Or, I’m not one big for metal, but dethklok would be awesome, and i’m pretty sure “they” did a concert at the u of m twin-cities once.

  23. Rachel says:

I second Passion Pit!! They’re fantastic!

  24. Josh says:

Motion City Soundtrack. From Minneapolis. Great energy, great fun. They’re touring this spring. Perfect fit.

  25. Alex says:

    DJ Lubel
